February 3, 2011 Scottsdale

I'm  back in the cozy warmth of  Karen and Bob Budan's beautiful home and after a 3 hour visit to a dentist 40 miles away, I have 2 new teeth!  Lost 6 and 9 from  the cold.  Yip.  It was so cold, I was worried about driving in this

and then

went into a very short skid on a downhill road and sort of pulled over to the side

and this guy

was so nice and helpful and said the best thing was to keep going!!! and turn right onto whatever highway I was heading for (no map in front of me now... pork loin about to be carved is what I'm  seeing AND smelling so this'll be short)

and I turned on to this road

and took off all by myself into the Twilight Zone.  After awhile, I had to follow this flatbed pulling this bus:

and anyway, dinner is ready... so

now I'm  happy and warm  and with friends!  Yippee!
