Happy New Year! Beautiful, clear and crispy on the coast, whales heading to Baja.  I'm packing to leave Monday for Roatan!  Happy Housesitter will arrive tomorrow to get acclimated here for her five-week stay and I'll be finishing up packing the box of goodies I'm taking... aspirin, art supplies, reading glasses, etc., to help those in need.  I've connected with Penny, the tour guide, and Michele, the gallery owner, and will be teaching two 3-day classes with Michele; then I'll be volunteering some lessons to orphans with Penny.  Looking forward to lots of snorkeling and great art, warm water, new friends!  New Ideas!  New year's worth of ideas!  Reinventing myself!  And if my new iPad arrives tomorrow, I can certainly post doodles and photos!  time for a hike!
