Here is my dry pastel painting 10 Mile River. It was painted from a photo I took while on a walk a few weeks ago, and I was inspired by the beauty of this valley. From across the room, the depth of this piece draws you right in. It is 16x20 and framed in a natural wood frame.
TRIP. I stripped the bed in CoCo yesterday, removed the memoryfoam and replaced it with a nice mattress pad and clean fresh heavy flannel sheets. Today I'll tidy up and take some pictures between rain showers, so you can see where I'll be hanging out for the next 5 weeks!
I'm UBER excited and hope to do last-minute errands Thursday in Fort Bragg... pick up tire pressure tool, get gas, stuff like that. I have bags of Big Girl clothes to take to a consignment shop and hope they will take them tomorrow. If not, it'll have to wait until my return.
I'm bringing in two new artists into the gallery, Keith Middlesworth, a sculptor of wood carvings and neon artist; and Sarah Ginskey, a creative painter who also makes bark rubbings on rice paper. Their work will be a nice mix for the gallery, should any shoppers happen by! It's been quiet lately, and I'm hoping people come up for the Crab Festival in the next couple of weeks.
All for now. Much to do!
