Third artist arrived today

Soña Holman, my friend from early '90’s in Marin now living in Austin, TX, arrived this afternoon with bags of vegetables. And borrowed glasses to read about some cool new watercolor bricks.
Shortly after her voluptuous arrival, our new tour guide Penny Millsaps arrived to help us plan the next week ir so, and guide us to give our donations (reading glasses, aspurun, bandaids, crayons, pencils and pens, little watercolor sets, unused tee shirts) to orphans and needy others.  Penny will escort us to Punta Gorda, the zip line, mangrove region, iguana zoo, and several other places if interest.  Looking forward to our first day with her dau after tomorrow, Tuesday.

Earlier this morning,
Chris and I went west to snorkel, but found the water choppy and murky and not fun.  We turned our (well, MY) attention to picking up colored plastic bits on the shore for a future collage.

We meandered back to our condo, dressed for the day, and headed out to Ronnie's Barefoot BBQ for lunch.  We turned Right here
And barefoot, walked in the sand a short distance to a great pork chop, refried beans, potato salad and corn tortilla lunch.  This delicious fare sustained us for the rest of today (Sunday).  On the way to Ronnie's, we encountered this beautiful Island man, Yogi Bear.  He said instead of stealing the picnic basket, he TAKES the basket of food TO the picnic.  We would go anywhere to eat with him!!! And asked him to sit for a portrait.  He said yes only if it was "large" and I painted "two, one for me and one for you."  I am considering that.
